"Building upon the foundational skills developed in Presentation Technique Workshop I, this advanced course further deepens PhD students' mastery of presentation techniques within the translational medicine program. This intensive course is designed to refine and elevate students' ability to communicate complex scientific results effectively. The course includes: Enhanced Scientific Presentation: Students will present their advanced research findings in a concise 10-minute session, focusing on clarity, engagement, and the impact of their scientific communication. Critical Review Sessions: This segment includes a structured 5-minute period where students receive targeted questions from course leaders and supervisors, designed to challenge their content mastery and presentation rationale. Peer-led Interactive Discussions: An open 5-minute session where students can pose complex, analytical questions, encouraging deeper understanding and collaborative learning. Expert Feedback: Direct feedback from the course leader emphasizing advanced lecture techniques and the integration of professional standards. Supervisor Insights: Supervisors provide insights focusing on the subtleties of lecture delivery and the professional applicability of the presented work. Constructive Peer Review: Students will give and receive critical feedback aimed at fostering a collaborative learning atmosphere and encouraging mutual growth. Follow-up and Development: The course concludes with a reflective discussion session, allowing for the consolidation of feedback and further planning. The second block mirrors the first but introduces incremental challenges and feedback loops, ensuring continuous improvement.
